Single Instancing – Only a centralised system can determine whether data has been placed already and avoid duplication. Thus, storage space is optimised and costs are minimised.
Retention Management – The archive monitors retention periods for archived documents and supports application systems which do not provide this function. Retention periods can be optimally controlled.
