Dipl.-Ing. Wolfgang Munz, CEO
Wolfgang Munz, the principal shareholder, is in charge of product strategy and development. In 1992, after completing his degree at the University of Nürnberg in Telecommunications Engineering with a special focus on Precision Engineering, he founded dataglobal.
Wolfgang's goal is to be on the forefront of data management. The goal is to provide state-of-the-art technology in data management, bringing added value to dataglobal's customers.
By recognizing trends and developing new technologies, he strives to stay one step ahead of the competition. The dg product family is the result of this pursuit.

Dr. Rainer Pollak, CTO
Since 2006 Dr. Rainer Pollak is the CTO at dataglobal GmbH and is responsible for the continuing development of the dg product family.
Rainer started his career at Debis GmbH as a leading application developer, then was a senior manager at UBS Software Service in charge of Executive Account services and a strategic account manager at USU AG before becoming the chief executive of the Tress and Pollak GmbH. Rainer has a wide range of experience in the field: he has developed corporate invoicing applications according to HGB and US GAAP for Daimler-Benz, host client/server migration solutions for ERP systems and cluster solutions for high availability as well as carried out client rollouts for the largest computer center operator in Europe and provided diverse IT specifications (storage on demand, server operation for Windows etc.) for Audi.
Rainer has a PhD in Computer Science from University of Stuttgart where he received a grant from the Intel Corporation in 1994.

Jürgen Obermann, COO
Jürgen Obermann joined dataglobal’s team in 2009 as Chief Operating Officer where he is responsible for global sales and marketing.
Prior to dataglobal, he served as CEO at GFT inboxx, the acknowledged leader of email archiving technology in EMEA. Working with some of the world’s leading blue chip companies, Obermann helped GFT inboxx implement over 1,500 installations of its archiving solutions worldwide.
With over 20 years of experience in the IT sector, Obermann brings a wide breadth of global experience to dataglobal including stints as director of marketing at Cisco, managing director of EMEA for Lucent and vice president of sales for Mirapoint.
Jürgen holds professional degrees in chemistry and information technology from the University of Applied Sciences Mannheim and the Distance Teaching University Hagen, respectively.

Bernd Hoeck, Vice President Marketing
Bernd Hoeck is a recognized expert in strategic marketing and positioning. For dataglobal, he is responsible for global marketing, communications as well as public and analyst relations.
Prior to joining dataglobal, he was Director of Marketing at GFT inboxx, where he played an essential role in the strategic re-positioning as a leader in Unified Archiving. Previously, he was successful in various positions at GFT Technologies AG - most recently as Managing Director Business Innovation. After studying in Germany and abroad, he also worked for several software and consulting companies.
Bernd Hoeck studied Computer Science in Dortmund, Leeds and Manchester and holds a MSc degree in System Design. His management skills were trained with extensive Executive Education at the London Business School.
For many years, Bernd Hoeck is also successful as a lecturer in Marketing, Sales and New Media at the renowned Steinbeis University Berlin in the MBA programs.

Frederick Rehhausser, General Manager
Fred Rehhausser has over forty years of experience in the computer industry holding executive positions and senior management roles with industry leading computer companies like Sun Microsystems, FORCE Computers, Motorola Computer Systems, and Chorus Systems. His tenure at each of these companies has had significant results in terms of increased revenue growth or market position of the respective organization.
Fred earned his BSEE degree from MIT and MSE degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He holds several patents in the computer field and is the author of numerous papers on bus architecture and bus technology.
David Robinson
Entering the valley in 1985 David Robinson started in communications sales with Systech, progressed to OSI protocols at Retix, taking the OEM VP Sales position at Kalpana (sold to Cisco), taking over EVP International Sales at Chorus (sold to Sun Microsystems) and grabbing the helm at ControlNet as co-founder, President & CEO. After ControlNet, David invested in the incubation of several startups.
David's education includes computer programming and circuit design at Onondaga College, Syracuse University, UCSD and JAVA programming.
